What We Do

We are breaking the cycle of poverty among some of Africa’s poorest groups – orphans, fatherless children and widows by educating the children and empowering the women through training to generate income to sustain their families. In this way, they can contribute to development in their community.

We are educating disadvantaged children in women-led households, typically fatherless children and orphans who are living in poverty and therefore vulnerable to continue in the cycle of poverty if they are not supported to access education.

We are empowering women-led households, typically widows, single mothers, grandmothers, aunts and guardians looking after vulnerable children and orphans. We provide counselling and training in literacy, business and whole-life skills so that they can generate income to sustain their families.

We are developing the communities where we operate in Africa by supporting projects in education, sanitation and health, through working with local schools.
