“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
The festive period is a time for giving. As we approach this special time of the year, we’re reminded that Christmas provides us with the perfect opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
This year marks 25 years since ACT was formed. To celebrate this milestone, we would like to support 250 additional children from across the 8 countries where we work in Africa. This works out as ten (10) new children supported for each year since ACT was formed. To achieve this goal, we will need help from our amazing supporters. That is why we are appeal to you all for your support. Your help, whether big or small, could make all the difference in changing the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people in the world. What a wonderful Christmas present that you would be giving to a disadvantaged fatherless child or orphan in Africa.
Taking part is important and here are 5 ways you can get involved today:
Donate
Our donors have been transforming lives for over 25 years. For just £15 a month you can support a disadvantaged child and give them the opportunity of an education, helping them to reach their potential build a better future for themselves and their family. ACT guarantees to sustain the support for every child we take on from primary school right up to university or other tertiary level. We will send you updates on the child’s progress, so that you can see the impact you are having on their lives.
You can make a regular monthly donation to support a child for whichever period of time you choose. Alternatively, you can make a one-off donation as and when you wish. Even just a small act of kindness can make a huge difference. To donate, click here.
